I grew up amongst the dust; in construction, with builders, architects
and engineers since my family owned a construction company.
In interior and lanscape designing, I find a way of
understanding life and living, giving me passion and drive.
How we live reveals how we behave, from the privacy of
our homes to our social behaviour in public and
semi-public spaces as well as the relationship we have
with nature as shown in landscaping.
With my studies in Buenos Aires, I took advantage of
all my coursework and seminars provided to build a
complete professional base. In designing, I always
considered the economic, social, geographical, cultural,
and environmental implications in my work.
Since returning to Bogota, my experience in the
National Design Center (Centro Nacional de
Diseño) as Creative Director exposed me to
multiple responsibilities such as overseeing
multiple projects not limited to the area. In
these tasks I enhanced my skills in
personnel management and project
coordination.
I work well in a space where I can
constantly be learning and growing, pursuing
the success of multiple and diverse projects
with an interdisciplinary team in an amigable
workspace that encourages and supports
creativity.
