Hi, it’s Dani De Zan, but everybody just calls me Dani. I’m a folk-blues singer who never studied how to sing nor how to play guitar, but began this adventure simply following the strong passion for music! I started my journey 3 years ago, performing in small bars and Hosterias near where I live, in my beautiful own town Conegliano. Since the beginning I involved al lot of musicians who not only gave me amazing performances, but also good vibes and who helped me to understand what I could do with my voice and my out of key guitar. My musical background goes from Rock-folk, to blues, jazz, but also latin music and tango too (the Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, the Beatles, Nina Simone, David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, the Who, Joaquin Sabina, Astor Piazzolla, Regina Spektor, Piers Faccini etc). Last summer I recorded my first album, “Easy”, with 13 original songs that I wrote even without knowing anything about how to write a song.
