Epic Micky UK ! From a very young age I always had musical instruments for Christmas as this was an interest of mine having listened to music and my family being music orientated during my childhood upbringing. During my time in Primary school I began to learn practise the violin and within three months I was put forward into the Moorside orchestra which lead to the winning pupil of the year. It was then I realised music would be a main focus of my life! I am just finishing my 30th track and I'm slowly beginning to focus on the quality where I wish to be. As I am a slight perfectionist it sometimes seems as though I will never get to my own high standard as every track has to be better than the last and I always regain focus into aiming higher! I begun djing at the age of 13 when I had my first set of 1210's which lead to getting gigs and being entered into competition's. One competition I reached the finals which was hosted by superstar dj and I came 4th. I then began producing after this, I bought a load of equipment and hired a unit so I could work as hard as I could without disturbing my parents. At one point I was trying to start a radio station writing up plans for the Princess Trust to try to get the funding in place but at the age of 20 I steered down the wrong road with some personal issues. I suddenly lost focus of my dreams and unfortunately sold all my equipment and gave up. From that point I always felt like I was missing a big part of my life when I lost focus. Three years ago I pulled myself together got through depression which nearly had me ending my life. I have sown through and picked up where I left off by the looks of things and it seems I am making up for lost time musically with more fire than ever to do this. I know I can do this because of the passion and drive I have for making music. I am working so hard to perfect within my musical craft, in the recent future I wish to be signed for my music alone and not my public profile as with some labels you need a following to even get a sniff. Music is my love and passion and that's all I'm in this for so if I am not signed for my music alone I don't wish to be signed at all. I recently had my track the bomb played on bbc introducing and another track is being played in a week or so. I have a release coming up soon with Wolfrage records. @epicmickyuk
