Mimi Celisse Bold, energetic, full figured and fabulous! These are just a few words to describe singer/songwriter Mimi Celisse and her enormous talent. Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, Mimi had a natural affinity to music. She began her musical journey by joining her high school marching band, but soon realized that her heart was following the beat of a different drum. Being born and growing up in a family of many singers, she decided to seek out other areas of music and began to explore her natural signing ability. Mimi’s love of singing drew her to form a singing group while still in high school, but after the group effort failed to be successful, her drive and the love of music propelled her to seek out a journey as a solo artist. This determination to succeed as an artist drove Mimi to move to Nashville, Tennessee in 2002 to seek out a more established route and develop her talents even further. Through the process of building relationships with various djs and promoters, Mimi began to take on live performance slots which started the career she had been hoping for. Since 2011, Mimi has been working with View World Entertainment where she continues to book shows and collaborate with founder, rapper Cadillac Jr and many other artists. She has now performed throughout the country in cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Orlando, Atlanta, Oklahoma, Alabama, Missouri and many more. All of her experiences have led to her first recored solo project, set to take the world by fire in 2016.
