Patrick Smith is a young saxophonist and composer who is currently enrolled in his second year of Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance at the University of Toronto. In high school he played with such groups as the Nepean All City Jazz Band, the Capital Youth Jazz Orchestra. Patrick currently leads the Patrick Smith Standards Trio and the band known as 21C which features his original compositions. Since moving to Toronto for university, Patrick has been performing with his own groups as well as the groups of his colleagues at the many live music spots the city has to offer (the Rex, Tranzac, the Central, Habits Gastropub, Placebo Space, etc). He has also had the chance to work and play with such great musicians as Dave Liebman, Wycliffe Gordon, John Riley, Mike Murley, and Mike Holober. Contact at _Email not available.
