Born in 1991, he began studying the instrument at the age of 12. After classical piano and composition studies, he dedicated himself to deepening improvised music, jazz and keyboards, preferring contemporary sounds. Among his teachers are Paolo Ugoletti, Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, Tino Tracanna, Attilio Zanchi, Massimo Colombo, Greg Burk, Oscar Del Barba, Pietro Tonolo and Paolo Birro. He studies Choral Conducting with Silvio Baracco and Counterpoint with Tommaso Ziliani. He perfects the piano technique with Riccardo Zadra. He graduated in Jazz Piano at the Milan Conservatory in 2015 with a thesis on Chick Corea and the Fender Rhodes. He specializes in the use of electronic keyboards and synthesizers during his years of study at the Conservatory. He has also participated in various masterclasses including those with Efrain Toro, Franco D' Andrea, Sandro Gibellini, Bob Moses, Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Brian Blade, Jorge Rossy and Dave Liebman. He works as a pianist, composer and arranger. He works as a composer and producer for Fluffyaudio. He is a founding member of the EKE (Electric Keys Experiment) together with Olmo Chittò, an experimental group of contemporary electronic and jazz music with whom he records the album Electric Keys Experiment (Ritmo & Blu Records). He’s founder of Barba Negri Ziliani Trio with double bass player Nicola Ziliani and drummer Federico Negri. In 2021 he is the arranger and musical director of the album Maramao by Matteo Ferrari. He recorded the disc as a pianist together with Gino Zambelli, Bruno Righetti, Giovanni Trivella, Nicola Ziliani and Federico Negri. He is part of the duo Mandolino Contemporaneo together with the mandolinist Camilla Finardi; for this training he writes Ergobando Suite and the cycle Cinque Canzoni Botaniche for mandolin and piano between 2021 and 2022.
