uniE621 Hotel Room Booking Mobile App
Book & Fly Tours, a hotel booking mobile app is designed to provide users with an easy and enjoyable experience of finding and booking hotels in the country. The software application will offer a wide selection of hotels in different price ranges, locations, and amenities to meet the diverse needs and preferences of travelers with secure payment options, and a booking history for users. What was done? - User Research - Information Architecture - Wireframing - Visual Design - Interaction Design What Tools did I use? - Figma - Adobe illustrator - Lottiefiles My Design Process: First, I started by researching the problem I wanted to solve with hotel room booking mobile application. This involved looking into what users might struggle with when booking a hotel room and understanding their needs. Next, I analyzed what other apps in the market were doing to address similar problems. This helped me to identify what worked well and what could be improved upon. Then, I brainstormed ideas with cross functional teams for how app could stand out and offer a better experience for users. After that, I focused on organizing the information within the app, creating a structure that made it easy for users to navigate and find what they were looking for. As we refined ideas, I created more detailed, high-fidelity wireframes to better represent the final design. With the layout finalized, I moved on to designing the visual elements of the app, such as colors, fonts, and graphics, to create a cohesive and appealing look. After completing the initial design, I created a prototype of the app to test with users, gathering feedback on usability and functionality. Based on the feedback I received, I made any necessary revisions to the design, iterating on it to improve the user experience. Finally, I conducted thorough user testing to ensure that the app met the needs and expectations of target audience. This iterative process allowed me to refine and perfect my design before launching the app to the public.
    uniE621 HR Management Web App
HRM is a comprehensive software solution designed to streamline and optimize human resources processes within an organization. This user-friendly system simplifies tasks such as employee data management, leave requests, performance evaluations, and more. What was done? - UX Research - UI Design What tools did I use? - Figma My Design process: As a UI/UX designer, my design process for creating the Human Resource Management web application begins with thoroughly researching the problems and challenges faced by users in this domain. I then delve into analyzing what competitors are offering to identify gaps and opportunities. Brainstorming sessions help generate ideas for addressing these challenges creatively. Next comes organizing the information in a way that makes sense for users, known as information architecture. After that, I create rough sketches or low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the layout and flow of the app. Once the structure is refined, I move on to crafting detailed high-fidelity wireframes that capture the look and feel of the interface. Visual design adds the finishing touches, ensuring the app is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. Prototypes are then developed for testing, allowing users to interact with the design and provide feedback. This feedback informs iterative improvements, refining the design until it meets the needs and expectations of its users.
