Hello My name is Samantha and I’m a graphic artist and designer based in Merseyside.. I currently work for a TV production company, creating props and assets for post production, logos and treatments for new shows in development. I also work freelance creating visual identities for clients such as Sefton Pride Festival and also with authors and publishers as a book cover artist. I have a 1st class BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design. My work is predominantly illustrative and I am playful with colour and typography. All of my work starts out hand-drawn, either by pencil on paper or digitally on my iPad. From there I develop and refine my designs using Adobe Creative Suite on my iMac. I am experienced in creating for both digital and print. I have an eye for photography, studying this as part of my degree and now having my own Canon DSLR camera. I like to use my own images as stock in my designs and was nominated for doing just that with the 2022 Design for Print award at Brighton Fringe. My book cover and TV work is what I am most proud of. Having over twenty designs of mine on books that sell in Waterstones, grace the shelves of the British National Library, Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Turning the TV on and seeing my work on the screen. Working with authors, script writers and directors collaboratively, making visual art that traslates their vision to an audience. This is something I am truly passionate about.
