Maggie Rethabile Matlala aka Socia Angel (@Social_Angel) hails from Kriel near Witbank, Mpumalanga, but now resides in Gauteng. She has a BA degree in Corporate Communications from the University of Johannesburg. She was a Vodacom Color SP (ambassador) from 2011- 2013 and she met some great and influential people (during uni-days), such as Skinny Sbu Socks, Fats, Melody Miya, Sandile Ntshingila, Zigizendoda Radebe and Nosisi Ngakane, just to name a few. I remember the days I had to discover the city in a whole new way by meeting so many people. And during these years have been one of the best years ever. Over the years, I've grown to love my silly, fun- loving and bubbly personality. I am a God-fearing woman, who's always up to meet new people and ready to have a good time. Being part of the Vodacom Color family; it was an super cool experience. It was interesting for me to be part of such a reputable brand. I was very fortunate to have worked with the rest of the Super Peers, I was blessed to have been able to experience that as a blogger, and an ambassador. Having to work as a Social Media Manager for #TeamMusaIdolsSA, was an awesome and rewarding experience. Engaging with his fans via social media, going viral and trending on Twitter...awesome! And being on air at VOW FM as a Lifestyle and Entertainment reporter, unforgettable moment. I am a blogger, a motivational/ inspirational speaker, an expressionist and more. And all of that, which I really love doing and very much passionate about, has made realize that I would really like to work as a presenter, preferably on radio but also on TV.
