T.Nate is a 24 year old Hip-Hop artist born in New Orleans and raised right outside the city in Edgard, Louisiana. He started venturing his unique talents at the age of 11 rapping over the instrumental to Lil Bow Wow's single called "Basketball" in 2002. At the age of 13, T.Nate's older brother, Tremaine, was coming home to see him play football when he was involved in a tragic accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Secretly, T.Nate has always felt in his heart that the accident was his fault and from then on he used sports to relieve his pain. A former West St. John stand out and Baylor University student athlete, T.Nate's football talents landed him in Waco, Texas in 2009 playing along side the likes of Robert Griffin III, but his passion for music never let up. T.Nate felt as though he was never given a chance to truly display his football talent during games at Baylor and with his lack of playing time, the pain of his brother's accident along with a number or other problems began pushing him to his boiling point in 2011. T.Nate was always the person that instilled strength and faith into his family and friends during their hardships, but he struggled to deal with his own until he was introduced to his first studio and realized that music could be a outlet for his pain and hardships. T.Nate put forth his passion for music and started recording in 2011 and released his first mixtape, "Da Inspiration" in 2012. After the first mixtape, T.Nate, contracted a stomach bacteria, h-pylori, that caused him to have to sit out his junior and senior seasons of football at Baylor University. However, he did not slow down while T.Nate was unable to practice he dove into his music, recorded a new mixtape then went on to establish his own record label imprint, Fresh and Blessed, in 2012 as well so that he could release and own all of his own original material. He also has performed at the House of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana & Dallas, Texas; the Dia De Loso Festival in Waco, Texas and at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
