While studying and working my day job as a barista, I've been making sure to absorb everything I learn every semester -- and it shows in my recent news of having been added to the university deans list. As Above, So Below
A shirt mockup inspired by the recent trend in the brutalism style. The phrase "As Above, So Below" was conceptualized first with the image after being edited to fit within the theme. The colors are limited to a dark color palette of red, black, green and white. The white was used to help draw the viewer's focus to the center of the shirt and lead the eye over the text while contrasting against the black of the shirt. Coin Up GO is a fictional video game company inspire by the classics. Back when arcade’s were the hotspot for social activities after school and when the golden token meant so much more.
I aimed to give this poster a retro, playful feel. The pattern being the focal point was an idea I had and often feel myself when in arcades, with the highlighted red arcade machines representing “the one”. London Repairs Logo
London Repairs is a fictional repair company that needed a logo with a mascot included. Immediately I had thoughts of an icon similar to Mario; he would be simple and recognizable as a repairman and it would add some friendliness to the brand.
I let his clothing be a dark blue to contrast with the pale yellow-orange of the Big Ben. That in itself is a signature icon of London to let people know this is a local business.

Rexa is a fictional alt/punk clothing and merch startup that was in need of a logo.
The colors used are popular choices in that community and helps identify the brand as more playful and young. The X in Rexa was perfect in my mind as being a symbol of rejection from the norm and status quo. It was the focal point of the logo where I built the letters around that single X.

HUY
HUY was part of a warmup project for a software company looking for someone to make a poster advertising the brand with a focus on the color red.
I decided to keep this project more minimalistic to keep the focus on a sense of “futurism” that would come with a software and tech company. The font used underneath the logo is Courier New and Avenir Next Condensed as the body. Slim and slightly spaced out typography aids in not leaving the lower portion feeling too empty, but also doesn’t make it feel too busy either.
The colors red and white are used as a small nod to HUY’s origins in Japan and to keep the theme clean overall. KAL is a personal project for a car company looking to host an event and needed an ad for it. They wanted the color green to stand out, so I decided to give the brand a sleek, modern personality with minimal color save for the green accents leading the eye to the central image.
