Veroh (Xolisile Gcaba) was born 30th November 1992 in Bhomela, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. She is an R&B/ POP, song writer, vocalist and performer. Vero’s beginnings start off in a humble church setting where, at only the age of five (5), she was already singing gospel solos. Her love for music has since grown and matured with her throughout the years, securing her lead-singer parts in both her school and church choirs, and paving the way to a promising music career. The “ Bhomela songbird”, as described by Precious Gumede of the local newspaper “The South Coast Fever”, is a Popular Music Performance student at the Gamalakhe TVET college and a signed artist with Sound Keban Records (Pty) Ltd, an independent label based in the township of Gamalakhe. She has released a single titled “My Crown” under the recording label, working together with song writer, Bheki Makhaye and producers, Sphiwe “S.jay” Jula and Sibusiso “Slittville” Jwara. She is currently compiling her first album due to be released in September of 2016. “WHERE I FIND MY HOPES, I WILL GIVE MY LOVE, WHERE I FIND MY DREAMS I WILL GIVE MY LIFE” -Veroh Veroh has been on the road since 4 December 2015 tirelessly promoting her single “My Crown”. She has appeared on a number of events and music festivals, totalling 13 as at 31 December 2015, where she received an overall ecstatic crowd response and a call for an encore at a number of the shows. These shows include the “Hibiscus Coast Summer Beach Festival”, the “Turton Beach Festival”, the “Gamalakhe Summer Music Festival” and includes arenas such as “Mount Nebo” (Harding), “Ebukhosini Lifestyle” (Umthwalume), the “So What Lounge” (Umtata), and both the Desroche and Margate hotels (Margate), to name but a few. The single is also currently being aired on local radio stations such as Radio Sunny South 97.0 FM and Ugu Youth Radio 93.4 FM. At both interviews, one with DJ Fabulous of Sunny South and the other with Khombizwe Mbhele of Ugu Youth Radio, the standard of her music, especially that of her vocal ability, was described by listeners as that of an international level.
