Sam Petion, a.k.a. Yung Soulja, has been making beats since 15 years old. I always had a passion for music. I was in band all through middle school. I played 5 different instruments: alto sax, tuba, baritone, percussion and a little piano. Music has always been in my blood. My uncles all played instruments so it was only a matter of time before I started playing music. I started making beats in my freshman year of high school. I didn't have a computer at home so everything I did was at school during class. That was a big part of my development as a producer because I only had a limited amount of time each day I could work. I would end each class with at least 2 beats finished. It wasn't until my high school teammates told me that I should sell my music that I started to make myself more known to locals.
