I hail from the suburbs of New York and have been performing since I was in pre-school. In elementary school, I began taking acting classes at The Actors Garage with the highly regarded acting coach, Ann Gray Graf, who to this day, is still my acting coach. For some time, I was a total tomboy...MVP of the lacrosse team, varsity tennis co-captain and the like, but one day in 9th grade I saw the school play and my life changed forever; I looked at the leading girl on stage and said to myself "I have to do that", and so, I quit the lacrosse team and auditioned for the next play...and I got the lead in Christopher Durang's For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls, a parody of The Glass Menagerie...I knew I had made the right decision. In my last three years of high school I went on to land the leading roles of Juror #8 in 12 Angry Men, Helena in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Rebecca Nurse in The Crucible, and Stage Manager in Our Town. During the summer before my freshman year of college, I began taking Acting for Film & TV at Stella Adler studio. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA where I studied Theater in the liberal arts college and Finance in the Goizueta Business School. While at Emory, I performed as Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, the Narrator of The Vagina Monologues, I was a member of the comedic improv troupe for three years, and was a host at my graduation ceremony. After my freshman year of college, I studied improv and sketch comedy at The Second City in Chicago. In my final year of college, I interned at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California, which was absolutely incredible, but not as incredible as performing ;), which is why I am now an actress in New York City pursuing my dreams and already making some of them come true. :)
