Taku Bannai
Born in 1972, Tokyo.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design
Started his profession as an illustrator with multiple design & advertisement companies.
His signature style uses human, natural or urban subjects,
combined with soft, organic expressions and simple but unique frameworks & colors.
His recent works include designing of the cover pages of a monthly magazine,
“Pen”, and creating illustrations for the magazine “SKYWARD”, JAL’s monthly inflight magazine.
He also designed advertisements for Japan Post Bank Co., Ltd., FUJIFILM, etc.
He additionally collaborated on illustrations for various books, magazines, and theatres.
Currently belongs to MJ Illustrations.
