Country’s Delight Waffles

I post this image because private label packaging is a discipline for which I am most established. I have designed and executed packaging artwork for over 1,500 consumer product goods in my lifetime, two-thirds of which were private label SKUs. I have worked with such companies at Certified Grocers Midwest _(sample shown)_, Whole Foods Market and Topco. Extending a brand look across a broad number of categories requires careful planning due to the multiple variables one must take into consideration. Being assigned and managing private label projects greatly expanded my capabilities. I cannot thank my clients enough for the opportunities they offered. I am especially thankful to the people at Certified Grocers Midwest who helped me establish my small design studio early on. Butterball Turkey

I had the pleasure of working with ConAgra Foods when they had a meat division. For seven years I executed packaging for every Butterball frozen turkey SKU, a new line of Butterball prepared meals, every Eckrich lunchmeat and sausage product, as well as packaging for other brands such as Swift, Armour, Black Mountain, and Margherita. Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast

This project launched a new category within the Blistex line of products, establishing brand equity that still remains 17 years after its introduction. I was able to utilize all my skills including design exploration, project and budget management, creating the proprietary lettering for _Raspberry Lemonade Blast_ which was then digitally rendered by Horst Mickler, art directing Chris Dellorco to illustrate the fruit background. My goal is always to deliver concepts that have longevity. Building brand equity was a goal instilled in me a young designer.
