Growing up in a strict household, DJ Ladylyke wasn’t allowed to listen to any music with a heavy beat. At the age of 20, LadyLyke left her restrictive upbringing with an open mind and a desire to discover what she was missing. Starting out with hip-hop and pop, she would stand behind the DJ booth for hours watching the DJ spin. Amazed by how a song can control the room, she started working with various LA DJs to learn how to spin vinyl and Serato. There was no turning back…Ladylyke found her passion!
