Emma Grazette is an emerging producer with 11 years of experience in the industry. A graduate of The National Film and Television School (NFTS), where she completed the prestigious 2-Year Producing MA supported by a BAFTA scholarship. Emma's stop-motion graduation lm has garnered multiple accolades and festival wins, including a Student Academy Award, and shortlist for the BAFTA Yugo award. Additionally, her live-action graduation won the gold YDA at Cannes Lions. In the lockdown year preceding NFTS, Emma actively participated in several industry development programs. During this period, she focused on honing and expanding her slate of feature and high-end TV projects, setting the stage for her future endeavours. Before moving into this industry, Emma had a successful 10-year career as a food writer and chef, exploring the stories and origins of world food dishes and spices. During this time, her passion for storytelling extended beyond the culinary world and she co-created and presented a 6-part unscripted series for Channel 4, further igniting her love for storytelling and prompting her career shift. She ventured into different aspects of the world, seeking to discover where her skills were best suited, working in exhibition and later on locations crews and as a runner for large-scale features and high-end TV productions, eventually finding her way to production management and an in-house role as a producer across short formats. This solidified her foundation in the industry. All whilst raising her 19-year-old son as a single parent. Presently, Emma is actively engaged in two feature projects, one a collaboration with Air Street Film and The Bureau, as well as co-producing an adaptation of Shirley Bassey's life with Rainy Day Films. Notably, she has garnered interest from Wayward Films, See-Saw, and BBC Film, as she actively seeks slate and development nance while establishing global co-production partnerships. She has a passion for working with underrepresented creatives, with a particular interest in bold, commercial-leaning “elevated” genres. Emma serves as a board member of the Encounters Film Festival and is represented by Mark Casarotto (lm and TV) at Casarotto Ramsey in London. With her background and international exposure, she is poised to make a significant impact as a producer.
