Hi, I'm Erin! I'm a detail-driven creative professional with years of diverse experience including web design, responsive front-end web development, and graphic design for branding and marketing. My first experience with web development was in high school, teaching myself to make fan sites for my favorite fictional characters. While getting my Associate's degree in Animation Art & Design I also learned more about web development and graphic design, and those were the skills I actually ended up pursuing as a career. I was with my most recent employer, Vertex Software, for 16 years. There I did web design and development for customers across a variety of industries from health care to airport parking. We developed sites primarily in our own custom CMS (content management system) and WordPress. I have strong HTML/CSS skills so I can build custom WordPress themes from scratch as well as use "low-code" builders such as Elementor, Cornerstone, and Visual Composer. When designing I welcome the opportunity to help shape a customer’s new image, but equally enjoy familiarizing myself with their existing branding to ensure seamless integration of new content with their established look and feel.
