I have always had a love of music; from my earliest days I have memories of '70s commercial pop and collections of 60's pop and soul. Having spent most of my teenage years playing bass in the obligatory heavy metal band, around 1992 I caught the dance music bug and in 2001 I discovered a whole new concept of making music. My enthusiasm was fired, I bought a cheap PC and never looked back, spending the next few years honing my skills to the point where I felt I could inflict myself on the general public! Several new projects ensued, including my audio recording/production studio "Boogs Music" and my vocal house project "Jaxx n Lowe" in partnership with vocalist Jackie "Jaxx" Gillbert. In 2008 I decided to take things to the next level and launched Boogs Music as an independant house label. However, as my promotion and marketing techniques leave a lot to be desired (I'm a musician not a salesman!) this project eventually sank and I folded the label in order to once more concentrate on music production, the area where my true talent lies. The past ten years have seen me work with many varied artists including Ministry of Sound former resident Scott Langley, 2Drunk 2Funk, Didier Vanelli's Cameo Drive, LnM Projekt, Micro Esposito, Mario Haeld and the "Originator of House" Jesse Saunders. I currently work closely with vocal house legend Inaya Day, being one of her favoured producers I have co-written for and with her increasing portfolio of new talent including DeVonde Williams and Rasul A-Salaam. My remix of NY-O-Dae artist Masquerade's track "Higher" took the no.1 spot on Kings of Spins promo pool twice, peaking at no.12 on the Juno funky/club house chart, closely followed by DeVonde's "Jump in" and Rasul's "On the double" both seeing similar chart action. Inaya teamed my production skills to the vocal talent of Roz Brown, breathing life into lyrics by Rosalyn McClure and delivering "Blind to your love" into the eager hands of one of Europe's leading house labels Mjuzieek Digital, who took this classic disco house track to peak at no.11 in the soulful house chart and no.50 in the overall chart on Traxsource. This release has led to several high profile remixes on Mjuzieek including Bruno Kauffmann, MJ White, Maanjit and the legendary K Klass. Success breeds success and having raised my profile I attracted the attention of Miami-based Disco Balls Records, who signed me up for several remixes including work for Jerem A, J-Staff, Lay-Zee & Beatrix Delgado, Special Q and again MJ White. Being a generally all-round nice kinda guy, in 2014 I produced and wrote a charity record for Wildlife SOS and Sobel Promotions in aid of media sensation Raju the crying Elephant which saw considerable success on iTunes stores around the globe. This led to more charity work via Sobel Promotions including a track for Mark "Hollywood Beyond" Rogers and his Birmingham-based BANG foundation, helping underprivileged children find a better path in life through music. Other production credits include Mike Jolly & Coco "I need a miracle" Star, Aaron "Worlds Apart" Poole, SirPaul, Ari Gold and the legendary KC & the Sunshine Band. Looking ever forward, I recently teamed up with Bolton's Jacked crew, helping DJ Keith Laverty to produce the DeepDown radio show, broadcast live over the airwaves every friday night on www.chorley.fm. Keep your eyes & ears open for Jacked & myself at one of their exclusive house nights at premier venues across NW UK. I teamed up with local DJ Si Carvell to form duo "Si-Lo" with a view to producing more commercially appealing tracks, "Destination Ibiza" being the first planned release. With releases and remixes on Mjuzieek Digital, SUKA, Disco Balls, Yoo'Nek Records, Strictly Beatdown & more, new tracks and projects in the pipeline and fans the world over, the name "Lucius Lowe" is gathering momentum as a global brand, get on board - its a Lowe thing!

Manchester based, 90's & Sci-Fi inspired alt-rock. "Skilled guitar playing mixed in with strong drumming & complimentary male & female vocals" Squarewave President Ray-Gun formed in the winter months of 2013, with the mission of bringing together a love of science-fiction, comic books, alternative rock and combining these things with pop sensibilities and a desire to perform shows that were more entertaining than your average unsigned band. Live shows tend to border on 90's influenced alternative rock and have been met with praise for being loud, entertaining and unpredictable.

The live acts of The Lotus are not only entertaining. They are catching, amazing and intriguing! The ability to find the right sounds and to create elaborate melodies is what gets The Lotus' audience into an inner journey. Rarefied and psychedelic atmospheres and impulsive explosions of groove and aggressiveness alternate each other. Who already appreciates bands such as Faith No More, Muse, Pink Floyd and Metallica cannot show indifference towards the unique mixture of The Lotus. This music doesn't put sound limits to its listeners, so it becomes the centre of an emotional sharing for the most varied audience. Since the year the musicians met (2005), The Lotus has been working on its own sounds in order to get it riper. In 2010 the first album Forgotten Silence was published. The band is currently composed of Rox Capriotti (vocals & keyboards), Luca De Falco (guitar), Kristal Cross (synths & programming), and Marco Lanciotti (drums). In June 2013 they released the EP named Tomorrow and the videoclip for the single Why Are Still We Living in the Yesterdays? . Their first publication was very well-acclaimed by the local and foreign presses. However, the new Tomorrow does not aim to maintain its stylistic continuity. At this time it approaches new experimental ways, which are going to catch both the music lovers' attention and everybody's inner tastes and spontaneousness. After exactly 2 years, The Lotus released their third work called "Awakening": a progressive ambient cinematic and psychedelic odyssey into the fears of the human brain.
