I am a self-taught designer eager to use my four-year experience for freelancing. I'm a Center for Human-engaged Computing (CHEC) member passionate about the user and qualitative study. I love dancing, especially Japanese Yosakoi dance that should be dancing as a team, never as an individual. Here, there is no point if you're the good one at what you are doing, but others are still struggling. It is not only working as a team but also "growing" as a team. After working as a front end web developer, this type of teamwork makes the dream work. I believe that listening, working together with users and team, and understanding the real problem is the solution to many UX problems. I'm excited to apply my human-engaged computing skills wherever I can. At the CHEC, I had an experience as a guest researcher in 2016. As a guest researcher, I learned about human-computer interaction research, which also focuses on the user sides such as TV gesture interaction and designing the smartphone keyboard for the elderly. This experience kindled my passion for UX and inspired me to do a bachelor thesis about User-centered Design Approach for Designing Children Productivity Enhancement Application. To obtain broad knowledge for UX skills, I entered the UX Design Competition Gemastik 9 and Design Challenge CHIUXiD 2017 with the result of the finalist. At my master's degree in Human-engaged Computing, I recently conduct qualitative research with international team members.
