Hello! I'm a musician from Colville, Washington. I have spent years building my musical knowledge and the past several years I have been applying what I've learned to writing music. (Musical experience includes piano lessons (since age 6), voice lessons, french hornist in concert band for 7 years, trombonist in jazz band for 5 years , volunteer organist and choir director at church, piano teaching, and other music related projects and opportunities.). My interests lie in a variety of areas. I write children's music (lyrics and music), vocal inspirational music, arrange for piano and voice and compose for band. My greatest asset is my ear training. After years of participating in and listening to music groups, and listening to jazz, classical music, broadway and high quality music my grandfather wrote (Crawford Gates), my musical instincts are well-honed.
