James Bradley Cartmell is a British actor. He was educated at Kirkham Grammar School in Lancashire, where he had acting lessons from an early age. James discovered his love for acting when he began performing pieces of acting to family and close friends and at the Lytham Academy of Theatre Arts (LATA), his local theatre. He soon began auditioning for roles and was hooked on playing characters of very different and exciting roles
James was a finalist at the Ares Production’s ‘A Night at the Agora 2017’ in Manchester where he performed a piece from ‘The Hideaway’, an original play written by Alfie James. Later that year he was cast in his first West End role in the production of Milked by Simon Longman, directed by Alfie James at The Arts Theatre, London.
In 2018, James was cast to be the narrator for the new children’s book “Little George and The Christmas Socks”, which will be released early October. In September 2018, James was cast for the role of The Mind in the new theatre production of ‘Borderline Electra’, directed by Stevie Helps and presented by the New Live Theatre Company. Borderline Electra is coming to Manchester on Saturday 17th November 2018.
