Artist Jim McNeill is an illustrator/animator currently living in Arizona. He holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York City. Jim is a freelance illustrator whose clients have included Popular Science, Macy’s, Metro Creative Graphics, the British-American Chamber of Commerce, Philips Lighting and the Gerson Institute. McNeill's artwork has been exhibited internationally in the Feria Internacional del Mueble de Valencia exposition in Valencia, Spain and in the Society of Illustrators 48th Annual Exhibition in New York City. McNeill is also the animator/ illustrator for Crystal Productions’ award -winning Dropping In On... video/book series, which now includes Henri Rousseau, Grant Wood, Andy Warhol (which won a Silver Remi at the 2007 Houston International Film Festival), Romare Bearden, Grandma Moses, Impressionists, Renaissance Artists, and Puffer Learns about Ceramics. Besides the Dropping In On... series, Jim has created a variety of other art resource materials for teachers, including the award–winning how–to video, Tessellations: How to Create Them and the book, Tessellations: The History and Making of Symmetrical Designs. Jim is a frequent speaker and workshop presenter in schools and at state and national art education conferences.
