One of the best features of the graphic design field is the incredible variety it encompasses. I have worked in many design capacities in various industries throughout my career and have appreciated the diverse opportunities they have offered. I am one of the lucky few who still enjoy their chosen field, even after the “honeymoon phase” has passed. I also appreciate being able to problem-solve with and for customers and coworkers alike on a regular basis. I look forward to continuing down this road in new and exciting ways as the industry’s technology evolves. I have worked with industry-standard programs throughout my career, as well as occasional niche items. More specifically, I have used multiple versions of the Adobe suite, with greatest focus on Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I have added Canva to my toolbox more recently, finding it a convenient option, especially for working out ideas on-site with customers. I am currently exploring Figma as another component in the ever-expanding palette of design choices available. I have also used supplementary tools such as Zoom, Slack, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and Hootsuite as applicable.
