My journey as a graphic designer has been a bit unconventional. I started out as a fine artist, studying traditional drawing and painting. After three years of formal fine art education, I realized that I had lost the passion and spark that I initially had. I changed my major to graphic design and dove head first into an industry I knew nothing about. Four years later, I have fully immersed myself in my work and have re-ignited that spark that drew me in to the creative world from the start. I currently live in Durham, North Carolina and work for an advertising and marketing agency in Chapel Hill. I have been working in the industry for about a year and have experience with branding, layout, package design, motion graphics, advertising, etc. I enjoy new opportunities to utilize and perfect my skills as an effective designer and problem solver by working with other professionals within the graphic design community.…My journey as a graphic designer has been a bit unconventional.
