When I started to study piano, I was all of five years old. After ten years or so, I abandoned classical studies to embrace the Blues, and Rock and Roll. While mostly inspired by Jerry Lee Lewis, I also loved Scott Joplin and Fats Domino. I never stopped playing or having fun with it. At seventeen, I fell in love with the electric guitar. I was so taken with the sound of the guitar that I taught myself how to play, and then pursued rock and metal progressive influences, like Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Stratovarius, and Dream Theater. Through the years my passion for cinema grew, which led me to a profession in sound engineering. Soon I was composing music for commercials, short films and documentaries. From the beginning I've loved expressing myself and communicating with audiences through my music. To me it's all about the emotions behind the music, without which playing would just be a mechanical exercise. Music is THE universal language, allowing us to paint the landscapes of our very soul with sound, for all to see and hear, to feel and interpret. In the end, that's what it's all about.
