I am a songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and bandleader of ANDIE & The Bandits. I have been involved in Chicago’s music scene for over 7 years, working on my own music, as well as pursuing supporting roles in other bands. I have a BA in Contemporary Music from Columbia College Chicago. In 2022, NPR's tiny desk competition highlighted my song submission of "He's Not What You Need Blues" on their contest blog , stating my writing to be "a skillful exploration of the hurt that comes with being betrayed". While studying at Columbia College Chicago, I was selected to take part in a week-long international songwriting intensive, partnering with faculty and students of Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, also known as "Pop Academy", based in Mannheim, Germany. In 2019, my band ANDIE & The Bandits won first place and was awarded a scholarship based on our performance of my original music at Columbia's Biggest Mouth band competition. In 2023, my band completed a successful 4 month residency at the venue formerly known as Golden Dagger, establishing us further into the Chicago music scene, leading us to secure a residency at Epiphany Center for the Arts in 2024. Currently, I am a background vocalist for the Danny Cronson band, the bassist and a background vocalist for Smooth Rogers, and the leader, lead vocalist, and lead guitarist of ANDIE & The Bandits.
