I am a budding freelance-commission artist with a Bachelors in Fine Arts: Illustration and Animation, from the University of Connecticut.
My strengths lie in character design, hand lettering (also known as typography), attention to detail, and clean line work. That said, I am always eager to learn new things. Not just in subject matter (such as landscapes, architecture, and mechanics) but alternative styles (see below), medium (ex. digital, traditional: watercolor, marker, colored pencil, etc.), and even forms of media, such as short 2D animations and voice acting especially given my background in children’s theater.
Art is my passion in life. No matter which way the wind takes me, art is never far behind. Be it a fun arts and crafts activity, or a professional commission, I will graciously pour my heart and soul into every piece. I especially love working with my clients and taking their vision, however solid or ethereal, and bringing it to life on the page. They are the inspiration that guides my hand, which stops only when they are satisfied. I have experience in both traditional (colored pencil, ink, watercolor, acrylic, marker, etc.) and digital drawing and animation mediums (Ibis Paint (primarily), Adobe Photoshop, Flip a Clip, and Callipeg). Though I have areas in art where I’m confident and comfortable - I’m also eager to learn whatever program, subject, or style needed to get the job done. All I ask is the opportunity.
