As a graphic designer/production artist and illustrator with 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, I design and produce print- and web-ready materials for academic institutions and nonprofits (alumni and educational association publications, student catalogs, textbooks and training manuals); performing arts groups (event programs, marketing materials); real estate companies; magazines and newspapers. On the digital side, I have produced and managed email lists and social media campaigns, updated websites and produced graphics for digital platforms. I have extensive experience in the printing industry in senior graphic designer, production director and trafficking/prepress manager roles. Wearing my illustrator hat, I have created original infographics and illustrations for multiple publications. I also design posters, tshirts and have illustrated several books. I am responsible for maintaining multiple fast-paced deadlines, creating innovative work flow systems, managing teams (both live and remotely) and printing schedules, as well as meeting with and designing for multiple clients’ projects—from concept to finished product.
