Digital Marketer is needed in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.

This role will cover the essential components of digital content, like as insight and research, supplier shops, help and FAQs, and category planning, could be covered by your function (including Home and category of strategic importance).

Full Time FTC

Duties:

Develop and deliver content strategies that meet the business’s commercial priorities in collaboration with the digital content manager.

Giving direction and advice to the content team members in the Digital Operations Centre on how to use a range of content types to create an exciting and engaging experience across the categories and assist customers in finding and purchasing the correct items from any of our digital channels.

Ensure that all content requirements are generated and delivered on time by serving as the content lead for category, events, and promotional initiatives.

Utilize web analytics to continuously assess the content’s effectiveness, then use the results to suggest ways to make it better.

Work together with the marketing team and the digital trading team to implement promotions in accordance with the marketing calendar, delivering the best possible customer experience and brand-consistent message.

Be a brand defender in all areas of our General Merchandising category, including tone of voice, copywriting, and more. continuously look for ways to enhance experiences through tone, and while doing so, mentor our colleagues at the Digital Operations Centre in this.

Develop trusting relationships with the teams in charge of marketing, sales, commercials, product information, and video and photography.

When appropriate, participate in our “monetisation of content plan” by directing our supplier shops’ agenda and forecast. Together with finance, you will develop our annual plan and use digital trading to jointly carry it out.

Experience:

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in an online retail setting.
  • A thorough knowledge of how to employ natural search in copy and metadata, as well as a desire to learn more about how content may improve SEO results.
  • Ability to clearly show a customer preoccupation in all element of the role.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience presenting data and insight, and the capacity to explain complex information about SEO and Content projects to stakeholders with different levels of expertise in the field
  • A clear awareness of the market, as well as the larger retail environment and the Digital landscape.
  • Able to influence decisions at a senior level while understanding the various cultures and priorities present throughout the larger Digital teams and operating companies that make up Sainsbury’s Argos.
  • Able to win support across functions for proposals and strategies.
