What You’ll Do:

As our Video Editor, you’ll be an integral part of our creative team. You’ll work closely with producers, motion designers, and creative directors to create jaw-dropping videos for various channels and media formats.

Some of your tasks will include:

• Edit kick-ass videos that tell compelling visual stories
• Work on a variety of projects from interview-focused videos, corporate productions, product commercials, and other videos for the web.
• Understand rhythm and pacing
• Manage the organization of project media and assets throughout the editorial process.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner with a constant awareness of review cycles and deadlines.
• Work closely with producers and project managers in a collaborative and efficient manner.
• Deliver outputs based on client specs and needs.
• Execute edit notes from producers, clients, and management without supervision.
• Serve as an assistant editor on projects as needed.
• Sorting footage and organizing sequences
• Coming into work every day with a super dope can-do attitude
• Knowledge of the latest Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere)
• Edit video footage, syncing music, and other audio, as well as the creation of motion graphics and effects when needed.
• Being a master organizer of our media library, ensuring files and systems are neat and tidy.
• Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative ideas.
• Editing video and audio for multiple channels and media formats.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 3-6 years of experience as a lead video editor, assistant editor, or equivalent, with a killer portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Ability to work independently, swiftly execute briefs and create content from scratch.
• Strong sound design, mixing, and color correction skills.
• Knowledge of video production and post-production workflows, video codecs, deliverable formats, transcoding, and media management.
• Exceptional communication skills and an eye for detail.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve. Bonus points for Photoshop, Illustrator!
