WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB//
The primary duty of the Guitarist/ Vocalist is to work with program management to execute scheduled program activities. This position will be supporting execution of a corporate presentation to industry executives. The Guitarist will play the role of a GMR “camp counselor” by strumming along (acoustic guitar) and playing camp fire songs in the background of the presentation taking place. The Guitarist will also support some light set-up and tear-down duties as directed by GMR Account Team.
The position requires the Guitarist to complete any assigned training tasks, attend rehearsal and stay through entirety of presentation. The Guitarist will also complete all other duties as assigned by program management and/or GMR Corporate Staff.

Program Essential Competencies, Duties, & Responsibilities:
- Embrace role of “camp counselor” throughout the scheduled programming
- Pick-up on ques of when to begin strumming to make it seamless with the ongoing presentation that will be taking place
Program Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Display professionalism in behavior and appearance appropriate for a corporate environment
- Ability to follow direction yet think on their feet to ensure the accomplishment of program objectives
- Stand for periods of up to three hours at a time
- Willingness to step into “character” of Camp GMR counselor
WHAT YOU NEED//
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read sheet music and comfortable playing an acoustic guitar
- Have reliable transportation to get to and from events
- Wear required uniform
- Attend all mandatory trainings
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year work experience in related field
- Strong Communication, interpersonal, and organization skills are essential, as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Language Ability:
- Written and conversational knowledge of the English language and grammar
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
