Overview:

  • Join the BBC News Output Operations team in delivering 24-hour live audio output across various BBC radio stations.
  • Responsible for operating mixing desks and studio equipment.
  • Ensure audio ambitions are achieved by the programme teams.
  • Connect and technically manage on-air contributors.
  • Keep live programmes on track and maintain smooth operations.
  • Provide technical assistance to editorial teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate mixing desks and studio equipment during live radio programmes.

  • Assist with various technical requests, such as connecting guests to studios, fault finding, audio editing, and podcast production.
