Set the Course

The Copywriter works in creative partnership with various teams to concept, create, and produce compelling written content across many brand communication vehicles, both internal and external, with a consistently inventive and engaging brand voice.

Be the Island Guide

• Create strategic, original, and innovative copy work in collaboration with Managing Editor
• Write clear and compelling product descriptions
• Collaborate with eCommerce, Product Design, and Creative teams to promote product launches and product stories
• Proofread copy for accuracy and alignment with brand values across various channels
• Fact-check legal and style issues
• Streamline product copy process and update the style guide

Essentials for Life in Paradise

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 2+ years of copywriting experience in the fashion/beauty or luxury goods sector
• Published industry writer in print, online and social
• Journalistic approach and ability to find the most compelling angle
• Up-to-date with popular culture and fashion industry trends
• Strong knowledge of how copy relates to art, design and graphics
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in AP style
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications
• Writing samples or portfolio required with all applications

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

Rate Range:

$23.36 to $38.94 per hour
