Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing for an UI/UX Designer to join an Executive Agency for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As the UI/UX Designer you will collaborate and communicate very closely with business partner and developers to identify user needs, business goals and technical constraints. You will join a development organization of 30 members, consisting of developers, business analysts, DBAs and Cloud Engineers. You will be responsible for designing user interfaces, user personas, user flows, wireframes that help validate design assumptions and improve usability. This candidates we work closely and seamlessly with the development teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented. Job Details

• Job Title: UI/UX Designer
• Location: Downtown Boston (100 Cambridge Street)
• Job Type: Contract
• Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Interview Process: 1 round with hiring manager, 1 round with team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and communicate very closely with business partner and developers to identify user needs, business goals and technical constraints
• Design user interfaces, user personas, user flows, wireframes that help validate design assumptions and improve usability
• Work closely and seamlessly with the development teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management or a related field
• 5+ years of UX/UI Design experience
• Strong working experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes as well as visual design comps
• Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD (User-Centered Design) methodologies
• Professional Portfolio available for review
• Experience utilizing Axure Software
• Prototyping/Wireframe experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, etc
