About the Role

The Uber Freight team is building a better future for shipping. We believe that when shippers and carriers have the freedom to move together, the entire industry moves ahead. The Design team is comprised of Research, Product Designers and Comms Design. The Product Designer creates the solutions that meet the business’ goals and make sure to prioritize the customer.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to create high-quality design solutions for our product
• Conduct user research and gather data insights with guidance from senior researchers
• Present work in a range of mediums and fidelities throughout the design process
• Build prototypes to share and test concepts with stakeholders
• Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality

Basic Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree HCI, Graphic Design, or related field
• High School diploma or GED Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of product design work
