Job Overview: We are looking for an in-house Graphic Designer to join our creative team! The ideal candidate is a motivated, talented designer who brings skill along with new ideas and fresh designs to our Advertising & Web Department. This position focuses on developing effective and compelling content for mailings, catalogs, flyers and digital assets.

Farrell Equipment is a construction equipment & supply retailer serving the Midwest since 1968. Headquartered in Eau Claire, we have 11 full service stores located throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Responsibilities:

• Work with marketing team to create, edit, and maintain print flyers, mailers, catalogs and other printed material.
• Produce print-ready designs, and web-ready graphics.
• Coordinate with vendors. Salespeople and other Farrell personnel to deliver content that is appropriate, meets design guidelines and achieves marketing goals.
• Participate in the creative process of offering and accepting creative feedback and ideas.
• Maintain and organize print and digital image and graphic assets.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a must; knowledge of web design, HTML, and php is a plus.
• Understand standard commercial printing processes.
• Ability to prepare print and web-ready graphics and knowledge of various file types and extensions (.eps, .pdf, .tiff, .ai, .png, .jpg, etc.).
• Able to follow directions and guidelines to achieve finished design piece.
• Works well with team and able to work independently.
• Able to manage various projects and deliver to meet deadlines.
• Fully accountable work ethic.

All candidates must submit a resume with a few samples of their best work. Once called for an interview, candidates will be expected to show a completed portfolio.

This position is located at our Eau Claire Store.

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
