Job Description

BrandStar Studios, a state of the art television and production studio located in Deerfield Beach, has freelance opportunities to be part of our growing Production team as Motion Graphics Artists!

What do Motion Graphics Artists do?

Motion Graphics Artists work closely with our Creative Director, Video Editors, and stakeholders across the company to create engaging content for marketing initiatives or use as part of video production. They are responsible for creating visually stunning graphics that communicate complex concepts in a simply and effective way. The successful candidate will have a passion for storytelling, 2D animation, and motion graphics.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Creative Director, Video Editors, and stakeholders to develop creative concepts and execute on visual storytelling that supports video production.
• Create engaging and visually compelling 2D animations, motion graphics, and other video assets that elevate the brand and resonate with target audiences.
• Work with project timelines to deliver projects on-time and within budget.
• Remain current with the latest industry trends and techniques and incorporate them into creative projects as appropriate.

This position generally operates within the regular business hours of 8:30-5:30, Monday through Friday but must be flexible to work evenings and weekends based upon production schedule.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum 1 year prior work experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard software such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all personality types.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Possess a positive, team player attitude.
