Job Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain test scripts based on software requirements and design documents.
• Confirm function, performance, integration, and acceptance test results are in accordance with application and departmental standards.
• Verify that system requirements are traceable, consistent, complete, and testable.
• Verify that software applications perform in accordance with system requirements and specifications.
• Analyze test results and report to the development team.
• Perform requirements, design and code walkthroughs/reviews as requested.
• Develop test plans, scripts, scenarios, and implementation plans that demonstrate concrete, consistent, and observable results.
• Measure the severity of failures and defects in accordance with test plan guidelines.
• Accurately and thoroughly documents application performance failures and defects during each quality review session.
• Clearly and accurately communicates test results to programming staff and/or appropriate management staff.
• Regularly enters issues/defects related to the test life cycle or change control environment into applicable tracking system.
• Conduct testing meetings, as necessary, for problems encountered during the test life cycle.

Pay: $43.00 per hour

Education and Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Technology testing and quality assurance: 5 years (Preferred)
• Performance of change management functions: 5 years (Preferred)
• Testing methodology and practices: 5 years (Preferred)
• Information Technology development environment: 3 years (Preferred)
• QA testing and script writing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Operating systems and software development fundamentals: 1 year (Preferred)
• Automated test tools: 1 year (Preferred)
• Process and gap analysis skills: 1 year (Preferred)
• Interpret test cases for high level and functional processes: 1 year (Preferred)
• Agile, Scrum and waterfall methodologies: 1 year (Preferred)
