Are you an EXPERIENCED SPORTS VIDEOGRAPHER? Looking for a fun way to earn some extra cash this fall/winter one night a week?

Requirements:

• Experience shooting sports from the sideline and off the shoulder
• Prosumer camera experience a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Must submit sports reel demonstrating skills
• Cell phone with text messaging

Responsibilities:

• Available every Friday night (Aug. 19 – Nov. 4) from 6-10:30 p.m.
• Capture game action and atmosphere, including warm-ups and locker room speeches
• Report back scoring updates from games
• Positive representation of the company

We are a media company with locations in Southeast and Central Ohio looking to add a couple of talented freelance videographers for the current high school sports season. This is a legitimate freelance position that pays for your talent and abilities, not one of the many postings looking for free help. (We need videographers Zanesville, Cambridge, Columbus, Newark, New Philadelphia, and Akron/Canton.)

Outside of the game action, our shooters will also be expected to capture the atmosphere of each game and its surroundings. During the editing process, we not only use the game action, but the other elements that football Friday nights so special.

And finally, you cannot be socially awkward. With this position you will be around the players, coaches, and fans. While the job is to film, social interaction happens and the company needs to be represented in a positive light.
