Contract: Full Time, 15 Weeks Contract

The role

Key aspects of this role include:

• Close working with Front End developers to understand new components beyond our standard whitelabel implementation.
• Advising on feasibility of requirements and proposing solutions
• Internal and client playback / presentation
• Hands on development

Your skills

You will need an excellent ability to communicate your ideas and work with others to make them happen. You need to be a self-starter who can organise your thinking and manage your own time in an efficient manner.

Core skills

• Excellent C# experience
• Deep experience with Umbraco (Ideally 9 or 10)
• Experience of working with multilingual Umbraco projects
• Experience of working with the Umbraco Grid Editor and Models Builder
• Experience of integrating APIs into Umbraco

Additional skills

• Experience working with Azure PaaS (App Services) deployments, including Azure Search, Web Jobs and Load Balanced environments
• Exposure to Handlebars is beneficial (the templating language used within our pattern libraries)
• Working knowledge of development using pattern libraries such as Fractal, Storybook or Pattern Lab, along with CSS and JS is beneficial
• Knowledge of Git and the GitFlow process
• Experience working as part of a Agile Scrum / Delivery Team
• An appreciation of tooling such as nuget, Azure DevOps
• A good eye for detail and a real passion for building high quality products
• An excellent ability to communicate your ideas and work with others to make them happen
• Must be personable, friendly and work well in a team
• Enthusiastic about the web and emerging web technologies
