Job Description
Full Well Recording Studio is looking for an Audio Engineer to join our team.
Busy studio located in central Phoenix seeks experienced audio engineer/music producer specializing in recording and mixing bands. Studio has been in operation for over 25 years, with a focus on live instrument recording. Applicant should have minimum 5 years experience and be able to provide samples of their work.
Studio has a focus on rock, metal, prog, country, punk, indie, alternative, grunge, funk, acoustic folk, etc. Studio is an analog/digital hybrid so experience with large format analog consoles and analog outboard equipment is mandatory. Studio is based around Pro Tools HD but also features Analog Tape. Would prefer applicant to have at least some music theory knowledge and be proficient on at least one instrument.
Being able to assist artists in arranging vocal harmonies and assist in creating unique and appropriate guitar tones using the studio amp collection is a part of the job so experience with recording tube amps and arranging vocal harmonies is a huge plus.
We are NOT in need of an electronic music producer or hip hop beat maker. Ideally, applicant will be a fan of the recording techniques used by Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Motown, the Beatles, etc, as well as being versed in capturing and mixing modern rock and metal tones.

Qualifications
- Pref 5 years Experience working in music production/recording studios
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, both creatively and technically
- Able to work under pressure and meet client goals and expectations
- Must be able to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to: high pressure, high volume, low volume, loud noise environments, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and/or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work with all types of technology including but not limited to: computers, mixing consoles, and analog and digital audio equipment
- Must have reliable transportation as we are located on Phoenix, AZ property. We do not have our own vehicle.
- Some Music Theory knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument required
- Must be proficient with Avid Pro Tools software.
