The vacancy
- You should have experience of teaching on under-graduate Graphic Design programmes of study and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of innovative teaching strategies appropriate to this subject area.
- Successful candidates will ideally hold a Masters level qualification in Graphic Design or related subject area and possess a teaching qualification or be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Although not mandatory, it would be beneficial to have experience within the graphic design or associated industry.
- You will be required to teach various modules across the programme including Historical and Contextual Studies, Computer Applications (static and motion graphics), Typography, Brand Identity, Editorial Design and Dissertation Studies.
- Essential to the role is in depth knowledge and experience of the following specialist software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop Adobe XD, Animate, and After Effects.
