The FSU Expanded College is the interim name for the combined College of Education and College of Health and Human Sciences.

Responsibilities

• This position will work closely with a team of media specialists, communications manager, and the assistant director of communications and recruitment to develop social media content for the Expanded College’s various social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, among others.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to create social media graphics and short-form social media videos.
• Skill in working on multiple projects at once.
• Proficiency in scheduling social media content.
• Understanding of current social media trends.
• Ability to work quickly in a team environment.
• Ability to track, analyze and report social media analytic data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior social media experience
• Experience using Sprout Social or similar social media management platform
• Basic understanding of media tools like Photoshop and Premiere Pro
• Basic understanding of social media best practices, particularly for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter

Helpful

• An ideal candidate will understand the basics of social media content creation and are interested in working in the industry. Candidates must also be willing to work in a team setting and collaborate with others, including faculty, staff, and students. An ideal candidate will proactively look for opportunities for content creation. Previous experience is a plus but not required.
