The Creative Agency is a dynamic and innovative media company that specializes in producing high-quality visual content for various platforms, including digital, print, and social media. As we continue to expand our creative team, we are seeking a skilled and creative Photo Editor to join us in curating exceptional images that tell compelling stories.

Responsibilities:

• Image Selection and Curation: Curate and select photographs that align with the company’s brand identity and project objectives. Review and organize photo submissions from photographers and contributors to build a comprehensive visual library.
• Photo Enhancement and Retouching: Utilize industry-standard photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance and retouch images while maintaining authenticity and visual integrity. Correct color, exposure, and composition to ensure images meet the highest quality standards.
• Image Metadata and Organization: Add relevant metadata and keywords to images for efficient cataloging and retrieval purposes. Organize and maintain an efficient digital asset management system for the company’s photo library.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on edited images to ensure they meet project requirements, brand guidelines, and technical specifications. Continuously monitor and address feedback from stakeholders to enhance the overall quality of the visuals.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the graphic design team, content creators, and other departments to ensure visual consistency across all media platforms. Clearly communicate project requirements and deadlines to photographers and contributors.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in photo editing techniques, software, and best practices. Implement innovative editing methods to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Photo Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing photo editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant photo editing software.
• Solid understanding of color correction, image composition, and retouching techniques.
• Strong eye for detail, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of copyright laws and licensing related to image usage is a plus.

Pay:

$18.42 - $22.18 per hour
