Location: Parsippany, NJ
Contract: Temporary, Part-time
OBJECTIVE:
Develop content and develop basic web front ends with that content to grow and drive awareness of Templar Real Estate.
The first phase will be to build out the front ends of multiple websites and its content. Subsequently develop content for those websites and social media by leading posts, community management & engagement.
We will be looking for your talent, drive and the ability to help us grow our digital footprint and brand awareness to become the leader in house rehabbing, flipping and apartment investing.
This person will also manage search engine optimization and marketing activities. A successful person must keep up-to-date with the latest industry best practices and work closely with editorial and marketing teams to develop a successful organic search strategy.
Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Rare Opportunity to have the flexibility to content for websites and eventually develop and lead the different marketing campaigns for social media
- Creative self-starter who is very comfortable taking the initiative and being able to independently solve problems
- The ideal candidate will need to work independently the majority of the time
- Must have a “Can Do Attitude”
- Content creation
- Proofreading and website design
- Develop basic website front-ends for the different companies owned by Templar
Future work & responsibilities
- Assisting with influencer mention tracking and reporting for clients
- Identifying opportunities for social media content and engagement for clients
- Attending client events and press launches where appropriate
- Researching up-and-coming bloggers and instagrammers
- Video and written content development
- Regularly review the social and digital work of our competitors and industry leaders to constantly stay at the forefront of digital trends
- Create and execute a monthly plan for increasing followers and engagement across social channels with a strong focus on Instagram
- Understand and track KPIs (engagement, impressions, gains, losses, etc)
- Provide quarterly analytics reporting of social channel growth & engagement
- Stay abreast of algorithmic changes, social platform updates, trending hashtags & best posting times
- Develop an overall strategy to increase brand awareness
Market research:
- Research and follow real estate flipping trends for marketing, new strategies new product development and identify potential strategic partnerships for promotion
- Monitor competitors’ moves and conduct analyses
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid understanding of content development
- Basic experience developing web front ends
- Strong Creative Drive
- Understanding Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and any other emerging platforms
- Must have strong command of the English language
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not necessary
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Passion for all things digital
- Good Research skills
- Must work in the office
- Attend weekly status conference calls with a clear plan
- Recent Graduate of BS/BA in Business, Marketing & Communication.
- Detail-oriented but highly organized to handle multi-tasks timely
- Collaborate well with teams, but possess the initiative and professionalism to learn and work independently
- Experience creating quality content a big plus
- Experience with SEO, Facebook, Facebook Ads, Instagram, YouTube, etc
- Experience with Canva a plus
- Video Editing
- Need to have your own laptop and tools required to perform you job.
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
