Job Description:

Independent media brand looking for videographer for filming on location in Montecito. Our media brand produces a high-quality YouTube podcast with weekly hour-long episodes as well as 1-2 short episodes weekly. The videographer should be available 10-12 hours per week to work on location. The schedule will vary based on the availability of guests on the show, but generally, be 2-3 days per week for 2-4 hours filming sessions. You must be able to ensure good audio quality, manage lighting, white balance camera for best exposure, coordinate 3-camera setup, and troubleshoot technical issues. Must be comfortable directing talent if needed. As our Videographer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our podcast to life through visually appealing and professional-quality videos. Proven experience in video production and filming, preferably with YouTube content creation.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in using camera equipment, including lighting, light meters, microphones/audio to ensure high-quality footage is produced
• A creative eye for capturing engaging visuals and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work 2-3 a week, accommodating our production schedule
• A passion for videography and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends
• Film podcast episodes, interviews, and related content on location
• Collaborate with our creative team to understand video concepts to ensure footage meets objectives
• Ensure video quality and audio excellence in all productions
• Upload the raw footage to a shared drive within the specified time frame

Note: You will only be required to film and upload raw footage to a shared drive. All editing will be done by our team.
