About the Role
At Compu-TTY and Sheepskin Ranch we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We’re looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations in both print, such as marketing and training materials as well as multimedia content. The ideal candidate is a positive team collaborator who is interested in having a voice in brand strategy, an expert knowledge of current design software and skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable.
Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop and produce high-quality assets and visuals for various marketing materials, including brochures, packaging, social media graphics, website elements, and more.
- Maintain and update websites and social platforms including adding and removing content, updating content with current promotions, events, or company milestones.
- Develop brand identity guidelines including logos, colors, and typography standards.
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and a strong aesthetic.
Requirements: Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Knowledge of layout design principles and typography.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Google Drive Office Tools.
- Familiarity with web design principles and best practices.
- Understanding of social platforms and willing to research best platforms.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage work to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Edit and proof training material including written, online, and video resources.
- Photography/Videography skills a plus.
- E-commerce graphics experience a plus.
