Contract: Freelance, Part Time

Open House Pictures is a Sheffield based video production company operating across the UK. Our work spans a variety of industries producing advertisement content, social media campaigns and event coverage. Set up in 2018 to meet the growing demand for video content, Open House produces work for a multitude of different entities from large organisations to small businesses. Producing video content for the Cabinet Office, the University of Sheffield, Canon, TrustPilot, Evri and more.

As a small yet growing team, Open House is a dedicated and passionate company that has big aspirations. We are looking to welcome new team members that are excited to be a part of a small business working across the UK to deliver exciting and engaging video for a variety of industries.

Job Description:

Due to expansion and growth of the company, we are excited to be seeking a part time, experienced and skilled videographer & video editor to join our existing team. The right candidate will have a mixture of creative flair, ideas and passion for helping to shape the best finished article for our clients, whatever the project. Your role will be to film and edit a variety of client’s videos as well as internal marketing material.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Following a brief, shotlist or outline.
  • Ability to work with mirrorless cameras including the Sony A7 range (preferred).
  • Edit client videos to a professional standard to a deadline.
  • Attend production meetings giving feedback and input on projects.
  • Shooting a variety of videos for our clients including interviews and B-roll.
  • Colour correction and grading of video footage.
  • Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches their vision.
  • Developing marketing material for Open House to use on social media.
  • Sound mixing projects including interviews/audio.
  • Organising footage and clearly labelling folders on hard drives.
  • Keeping in regular communication with the team through Slack.
  • Highlighting any issues in advance before or during a project.

Requirements:

  • Must have a driving licence and comfortable traveling to locations across the country.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in videography and video editing.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing, colour correction and sound mixing).
  • Experienced in using Photoshop and After Effects is a plus.
  • Support the team in development and structure of day to day tasks & projects.
  • Experience in following a detailed filming brief.
  • Professionalism whilst filming for a client.
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.
  • Have good prioritisation ability.
  • An aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • An ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Willingness to come up with and contribute ideas during group meetings.

Salary: ÂŁ15 per hour
